agilent test conditions

I'm looking for conditions the the Agilent GCMS sensitivity test. They spec octafluoronaphthalene
but don't say what conditions to run the GCMS. Anybody know what conditions I should run?
ie, temperature range and ramp rate.

Thanks!

What column do you have on the GC?

If it the only compounds you are looking at I would not worry so much about he ramp rate. I would make it simpler by running the GC isothermal.

The following is the method that the Agilent Service engineers use when running a sensitivity check on a new instrument:

Column: HP-5MS 30m X 250 X .25 (Agilent part number 19091S-431)
Flow rate 1.1971 mL/min
Pressure: 9.4379 psi

Oven:
45 deg C for 2.25 min then 40 deg c/min to 230 deg C (0 sec. hold time post run)

Inlet:
Pulsed Splitless
Heater ON 250 degC
Pressure 9.4739
Total Flow 104.2 mL/Min
septa purge flow 3 mL/Min
Gas Saver: OFF
Injection pulse pressure 25 psi until 0.5 min
Purge flow to split vent 100 mL/min at 1 min

Thermal AUX ON at 250 Deg C

Run time= 6.875 min

The last post was pretty good but I was still missing a few things.
The method is actually already in Chemstation by default.
Look for a method called OFN_sens.m or something like that.
