Welding weldment on injection port...

Hello all-
After doing routine maintenance on my 5890, I noticed the pressure wasn't holding. I checked everything as far as tightness, and upon leak checking, found a leak here:
It must be some kind of hairline crack, I can't see it. Can this be welded?
Thanks,
John

Probably not, you will save time effort and probably money by just purchasing a new component

Welded, no. Silver soldering would be worth a shot, what do you have to lose ?, it is unusable as it is. If you are not comfortable with silver soldering then take it to a jeweler, or a hobby jewellery maker, they will have the kit and the skills. Good luck.
As an extra note, this tubing arrangement was one of the less inspired pieces of GC design.

I agree silver soldering would be a decent try. See Ace Hardware or Sears, they've stocked kits of this, I've used them (but not for GC).
I think our shop (about 10 years ago) silver-soldered up the two holes in an Agilent SS inlet liner for a special application for us, and it's held up.
