for PDF you are as easily using a free software like Nitro
to print a pdf file simply

for back up the question here is what do you mean by backup?
do you want to have a secondary copy of your data in case of PC failure?
do you want to store the data in a format that it can be sent for example by mail and re-opened by another person?
do you want to remove your data from its current location in order to make storage room and move it somewhere esle? (that is also called archiving, very much like hard copy data)

ezchrom data are simply files.
all you need is to copy the files to a new location, or if you want to make room to move to a new location and then you can copy them to a CD and have one further more copy
but the thing for you is to decide whatexactly to save
generally things are saved by projects
in the projects things are saved as
data files
methods
sequences

now the data files are combo-files that will include for each analysed version a copy of the method used.
so if you want to keep it low in storage then you can simply copy the data.
but if you have a lot of projects this can be a pain to do only for the data folders, if you can't set it up automatically
on the other hand you can simply decide to move/copy everything each time.

if you are a GLP/GMP lab, remember that those things need to be done with a SOP and user instructions

Hello friends,
I think there is a misunderstanding in my question.
I will explain.
For example, In Empower, we can export datas (chromatograms) in pdf format and cdf format.
I need to know how to do the exact things in Ezchrome software.

Can anyone clear my doubt please???

for pdf the easiest part is to print it in a virtual printer, why seek an internal solution?
it is the same

for AIA go the the advanced part in the method and then export data
there you can export to either ascii or cdf

OK maybe I understand it, not sure though. As for PDF, just use a PDF printer and print the reports to a designated folder.
Exporting a chromatogram, just chromatogram, can be achieved by enabling the export functionality for graphics in the advanced section of the method. File names for these exports can be controlled with tokens, e.g. <I><S><D> (instrument name, sample ID, date+time). Export is in WMF format, so can be opened and viewed by 3rd party viewer. In the graphics section use the right mouse click and select the right properties (trace, colour, annotation etc etc)
There is also export functionality from a standard report under the advanced section of the method.

Maybe this is the answer you are looking for? Are you based in India then i can set you up with the right contact there if you drop me an email.
