Hi, I have a leaking CSRS-300 4mm. I replaced with a brand new suppressor and it leaks also. I tried the first two suggestions on an earlier 2004 post and the contribution from the back pressure coil is 7psi and the contribution from the cell is 3psi. A third possible source was stated to be pack pressure from the connecting tubings or waste line. Is there a way I can test that?
Thanks,
Jeanie

It may be messy, but connect to the pressure transducer to the line which normally connects to eluent out (of the suppressor and connects to the conductivity cell) and leave the cell and regen lines as is. Run at your normal flow rate and see what the back pressure is. This will give you a very accurate reading-including the tubing-for the pressure that is actually being applied to the SRS.
I've only ever had one bad SRS out of the box but have had two fail because of excessive backpressure.
