hi, I got some GC-FID data I collected few years ago on Agilent and Varian (Chemstation and Star). I would need to check them now again. However I don not have either Chemstation or Star sw at the moment. Would anyone have any idea how to deal with this problem? Is there any freeware, e.t.c. ... that I may use for simple opening the collected chromatograms? It would help me a lot...
OpenChrom is a new open source program that will work. I just found out about it in Chromforum this week.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but OpenChrom supports only MS data at the moment. Anyhow, OpenChrom is very flexible and modular, that's why it should be possible to offer FID evaluation capabilities too. But for me, there's at the moment no chance to do it, as I'm working still all night long. Maybe somebody is interested to join the project to implement the FID features. Who knows :-).

Cheers,

UniChrom allows processing data for free.
