I run Organophosphate mix standards by GC FID. The sensitivity is too low. And baseline noise is too high.
Try again and again. But still high baseline noise. Really headache. :( :( :(

Cleaning and servicing the Detectors can solve headaches.

It is like changing a flat tire. After servicing the wheel the car runs much better.

High noise is the way your GC communicates to you that it needs cleaning. Are you listening?

Make certain your flows are set correctly as well and your gases are clean.

best wishes,

Rod
