Hi everybody,

I am using an HP 6890/5972A GC/MS w/ Chemstation GC1701BA version B.01.00. The software was recently reinstalled and now will not connect to the instrument. The interface is an Agilent 82350B PCI GPIB. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Did you configure the GPIB board as "hp82341" even though it is an 82350B ? You need to. And change the bus address to 30. You need to.
Thanks very much, that fixed it. The problem was an incorrect SICL name and bus address. You guys are a great help!

REALLY????

Well, great - Because I have no idea what a SICL name is, and to me a bus address is where your old VW Type 2 is parked. And isn't a router used in the woodshop?
Isn't software a type of comfortable shoe?
