I need to analyze WS23, a cooling agent, by using GCMS. It is also named as N,2,3-trimethyl-2-propan-2-ylbutanamide. Currently, I am using a 60m DB5 column with 250um i.d. and 0.30um film thickness. Any help will be appreciated. thanks.

Analyze ?
The presence of it? Or its purity?

The presence of it! I have a sample with a mixture of various aroma compounds and WS23 is one of them. I need to quantify the amount. thanks.

What is the magnitude of the required precision?
The content must be greater than 99% or in range (99,0-100,5%)
If however, it is most convenient for the full ion current in the scanning mode of mass (internal normalization of the area)
If the range-best work by the internal standard.
And anyway - you probably have a normative document (procedure) - and do not bother.
