extraction - fipronil product

Does anyone have a reliable method for cleaning up a fipronil product? We tried one using florisil and acetonitrile. However, we did not get a possible fipronil peak using the GC. Our MS is down, so...Really looking forward to a reply.

We haven't done by GC; are you using FID or ECD for that?

We assay for fipronil using HPLC, a test method we validated.

Our HPLC is not set up. Anyway we used a ECD method - we have not been able to validate it and our MS is down...But we were forced to get some results. Anyway the standards did show a consistant peak around 18mins or so.

QuEChERS dispersive SPE clean-up with magnesium sulfate and PSA works well when the Fipronil is in acetonitrile.
