My lab technician told me a problem.
It is regarding this Agilent 8453 with dissolution tester system, we have problem with missing spectrum problem.
Actually the missing spectrum does not always miss the same region. it may be 400 ~ 500 nm this time & 200~300 next time.
The method that we use in under "multibath dissolution testing" instead of our " standard" mode. The interesting is that when we use the "standard mode" to do the scanning, i got the full spectrum but once i change to the "multibath dissolution testing", the error may occur ( frequently )
The error message that pop out during this missing spectrum is "Invalid data points in spectrum" . Once we press F1 for help, it gives troubleshooting guide on : purge bubbles ; clean the cell, choose a blank , replace SDA board ; replace SPM board . For your info , i use air & filter for the scanning, so the sample does not interfere the result.
Do you think that this is a software problem instead of hardware ?
i need to ask on the CAG Bootp server.
Every time i start the CAG Bootp Server, i must agree on the terms & condition ( like first time software installation ) . And for the CAG Booto Server window, there will be one line stated error : "hardware address not found in BOOTPTAB : ..."
However, i can link with all the peristatic pump, 8 port valve & the 8 multicell
What can be wrong? Advice is much appreciated.
