Any familiarization out there using LC-ESI MS for sugar alcohols or polyols.

APCI might be the way to go for you. I have used an amino column with a mobile phase of about 85% Acetonitrile (+ 1.2% CHCl3) 15% Water. You detect M+Cl- in the negative mode. It is similar to this method:
