Dear all,

I am planning to purchase a Dionex UHPLC which as per Dionex company is suitable for both application (UPLC and HPLC) the maximum pressure is 620 bar (9000 psi) and the detector Hz up to 100Hz,
it is the first time for me to use a UPLC application, so dos above criteria of the instrument will be useful in reducing analysis time in my lab?

Hi
Only if you have effective and stabile (robastic) method for HPLC separating substances now days.
Rebuild method from upls to hpls is minimal problem, but rebuild method from classic hplc to uplc - may be more problems.

We run a Dionex UHPLC. We like it.
Fastening analysis time is method development or modification. That is a scientific job. The instrument is only the tool. Higher pressures help. Added flexibility helps.
