Hi all, i wanted to quantify the residual iodine, iodide and hypocholirite in my API sample. I could see lot of methods with chemical titration and just wondering whether i could get some accurate methods like HPLC or GC. Does any one analyzed these contents in residual level? if yes kindly help me.
Some folks suggested me to go for ICP(copuled plasma) will it helps? i really dont know how it works. i would be happier if anuy one post the method with HPLC or GC.

1) The method of titration is also an accurate method. Applicability of the method depends on the amount. If iodides mg / ml solution - why not titration?
2) We can analyze ion-exchange chromatography with electrochemical detector.
3) Previously, these matters are analised with polarography (volt-amperometry).
3a) but if there is ICP-MS - why not. "Beautifully live not ban " :D
