Shimadzu selector valve fury

we're running LC on two channels using a CTC-DLW autosampler. The stream selector is a shimadzu FCV-20AH. Everything up til now has been fine...and then the fury began. Seemingly out of the blue the selector valve would stop the queue when the autosampler was ready to inject on stream 1. The last time we had this problem we wound up ordering a new stream selector but I want to believe this can be fixed in-house. Does anyone have any experience with this devil?
