I am a new in GC analyse, so I have a program, a have a simpel, en I have a chromatogram. Please give me same advice, how I can make diference between the piks, en how i can calculate the area from the results. I make analisys in organic chemistry.
Any information will be welcome

Assuming that waht you have is a chromatogram drawn on paper by some sort of chart recorder, I can suggest that you
1) draw a baseline under all peaks of interest
2) either measure the peak heights from the baseline or
3) cut the peaks out carefully and weigh them (this is how it was done for several years between the time of the dinosaurs and the PC).

This will give you relative amounts for each peak going from chromatogram to chromatogram. If you plan to keep using chromatography in the long run, invest in a data system.
Thanks,

thanks DR:)
normaly I have system, PC....but i wondering wath I shoud do if I have to recognize a new peak. it is a goed to now, because I spend my time to make a reference 1000 time.
