I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to regenerate an agilent "big universal trap" for helium or even if they are able to be regenerated.
Thanks

It depends on which BUT you have. The older ones can be regenerated. You unscrew the fitting on one end and the pellets inside can be poured out. Agilent sells re-fill kits, and I think Restek has them as well. If you run multiple instruments from the same helium source you might look into part # 5182-9776 from Agilent and place it at the helium regulator / manifold.Hi,
