Hellow every body,

I want to know How can we calculate R2 value for a calibration curve without software :?:
Means manual calculation to calculate R2 value :!: :!:

A couple of books that are quite handy ( and inexpensive)

Statistics Manual by Crow, Davis, and Maxfield

The Statistical Analysis of Experimental Data by John Mandel

These are replublished by Dover Books

These books date back to days when computers were those big expensive things that ran with punched cards and it was often much easier to grab a pencil, paper, and slide rule (or calculator for those who could afford them).

But basic statistics is basic statistics...
Do you have Excel (or anything similar)?

Statistics for Analytical Chemistry (Miller and Miller) has worked longnand versions of regression calculations.

Alternatley my $20 casio fx-991MS calculator does regressions and the manual lists all the formulas.
Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
