I'm sure others here also don't understand your question....
Dear pliva:

Do you mean setting limit/spec for your potency? It depends on your products. You may set 95-105% or 96-104%, etc.
If you meant to calculate potency based on theoretical, perhaps this is one example (sorry it's basic):
(assay 480mg) / (theoretical 500 mg) X 100% = 96%.

You may want to reword your question.
