SEC column stability

Hi

I have a polymer based SEC column from phenomenex (Polysep GFC-P 6000), which basically should have the same properties as a TSK G6000PW.

I want to investigate the interaction between Liposomes and Al, hereby my solutions contain aluminium ions.
So my question is:

Does anyone have any experiance on how high a concentration of aluminium ions i can use in my solution? I mean does it destroy the column if i go higher than a certain concentration of aluminium ions?
I have tried searching for articles covering this, without any luck. If you know any articles of use i would be glad if you would share it with me.

All best

How about asking the vendor? They should be in the best position to understand their column's chemistry.

First of all, please follow Tom's advice and contact the vendor. You can also check the product information of Shodex OHpak SB-802.5HQ columns to get more information. The properties of different brands are never the same, in that case not even similar. If your vendor cannot give you an answer, check with Showa Denko and with Tosoh for their products. Maybe you will get some information you can use. Good luck.
