I am trying to purify patchauli alcohol from patchouli oil. I can not use normal phase in my HPLC i have to stick with Reversed phase. Appreciate your suggestion of column and gradient conditions. its a sesquiterpene with only one hydroxyl group. No UV.
If GC is not available I would recommend Ionexchange column, like a PSDVB H+ column for sugar and alcohol determination. RI detector is preferred.
