Hello Againe to all of You,

I want to analyze the CF3-CHF-CF2SO3H on GC .
I will try it on Packed Column with TCD Detector. But I just want to know is there any Suitable capillary column is available for these kind of acidic nature samples having Sulphates.
Strong acids and strong bases are tough on capillary columns which are based on silicone chemistry.

FFAP coated capillaries would resist damage the best I suspect.

Derivitization is not an option?

but as per my understanding the FFAP phase is more suitable to organic acids and esters. is it possible to use this type of sulphonates for these columns. b'use i have the FFAP column but due to SO3H group my focus is not on this column.
the another thing IS TCD most suitable detector for these kind of compound or any other detector . we have the ECD and PFPD also.
is it possible the decomposition may occur during injection b'use the temp. of injector is 250°C.
