Which THF do you recommend for GPC. It sholud contain 0.2g/l BHT. Does THF HPLC grade of Merck, Baker, etc contain BHT or I need to add it to the solvent?

I use THF p.a. from Merck. It contains 250 ppm BHT. Works fine with RI, not with ELSD

gstapels, what do you mean that the THF doesnt work fine with ELSD? I'm trying to determine an UV-stabilizer solved in THF with ELSD but get high noise, could this be one of the problems?

Whebn I use THF p.a. from Merck on my ELSD (Alltech 3300 ELSD) the baseline is too noisy. I have tried several brands of THF and the one which gives the least noise on the ELSD is the one from Biosolv (ULC/MS grade). So I use this for GPC, but after the sequency has finished, I flush the GPC columns with THF p.a., because you do not want peroxides formed due to unstabilized THF.
