About Empower 2 Calculation

One question about the Empower calculation.
When using the Empower wizard to set up the sample run, such as Standard, sample 1, sample 2, standard, etc., Empower will automatically set up the calculation for the sample content using the bracket standards.
How about if I run the samples and standards in following sequence (sequence that can't be generated via wizard) and using all the standards to calculate the sample content:
standard 1, standard 1, standard 1, standard 1, standard 1, standard 1, standard 2, standard 2, sample 1, sample 2, standard 1
anyone has any idea how to set up the formula under Empower (under "alter sample" function) to calculate the sample content for above sequence?

As long as processing for all standards is "Normal" and processing for samples is "Don't Process or Report" and there is a Quantitate U* line at the end of the sample set method, all standards will be processed and an average of their response will be used to quantitate your samples. If everything is set to "Normal" for processing, samples will be quantitated based on the running average of standards injected prior to a given sample.

Thanks DR.
Another question is that in the sequence I listed in the topic, there are two standards (standard 1 and standard 2). In the real world, they are different in weights and if i want empower to automatically calculate the sample content using the average response of ALL the standards, will the two standards automatically be corrected with their corresponding weights? i.e. average of normallized standard responses?

For your standards, you set an amount.
So as long as you calculate your amount with your actual weights, you calibration curve is made up with respect to your weighings.

in that case you want to set curve fit to response factor

Yes, as long as you set it up that way. You assign different levels to different standards and enter separate concentrations for each to generate a curve.
