Hi to all,
I heard that Bruker is moving in order to try to acquire Waters. Somebody else can confirm these rumors???
After Agilent-Varian and Thermo-Dionex, this will be the third big company in a year that will disappear...

Are you kidding? Waters is way too big to be acquire by Bruker. Where are you getting your information? Maybe they can scoop up a smaller company like Shimadzu. That seems to be the Trend. Aglient-Varian, Thermo-Dionex, and maybe Bruker-Shimadzu.

Bruker did just make a purchase - of Michrom
http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/2 ... r-Nanoflow
Michrom's revenues in 2010 were approximately 3 million US - not quite the 7 billion market cap of Waters (and way below Waters' 4th quarter revenues of ~483 million US)...
