a manual and parts or someone to repair a gas chromatograph

Thanks in advance for any help. The unit is an Agilent G2891a (per a customer repair worksheet) with MTI model number 03OLBF on the front cover. Note: The zero may be a Q.

Ideally would like a manual for the client and someone who has the skills to make it operable but am happy to repair myself as the court of last resort if I
can get parts. If you are familiar with the unit Humphrey's (after you finally get past the sales folks to technical support) believes they can identify the
part (may or may not manufacture it any longer) but would need a picture. Have partially disassembled it (face place loose and top and bottom off but would prefer to not go further without a manual.

Below is the last statement of what was wrong (quoted from the service report).

All three modules failed vacuum test. Module C failed zero inject. Found that on modules A and B the ferrule was warped. Found that on module C the injectoris bad. Replaced the ferrules on channels A and B, replaced both pumps but unable to replaced the injector on channel C as the part is no longer available. Channels A and B passed all tests.

Here is what I know. The part in question was manufactured by Humphrey's but there is no cross reference because of the naming conventions and apparently company ownership changes. All the part (apparently) has on it from other sources is the "Humphrey's Name". Tech support at Humphreys may still have the part in stock but can't identify. Won't go into this but in a nutshell the changes in company ownership of the product, naming conventions, and lack of x-ref make this a bit of a nightmare.

The parts replaced previously were FRL-1071 (2) and PMP-1659 (2) (x) = quantity / not part of the part number.

Thanks in advance.....Please let me know if there is any additional information required. Am in Kansas and can pack and ship it if necessary. Thanks, George
Tangoblue,

Sounds to me like you have a micro-GC, the Agilent micro-GC. I am fearless when it comes to most GC's and I won't touch a d-mn thing in that GC. If this is the case, I would recommend back to the factory. You might try GenTech Scientific or you might try Packaged Gas Systems as a last resort.

Not much help, sorry.
