Dear All

Can any one suggest the suitable HPLC C-18, 250 x4.6 or 4.0mm, column for the related substances analysis of Oxacillin sodium, Cloxacillin Sodium, Flucloxacillin and Dicloxacillin sodium.

As per EP 7.0: Octadecylsilyl silica gel for chromatography 5ยต.
Retention should match approx...... with EP 7.0.
01) Oxacillin sodium (RT 5.0) & Dicloxacillin sodium (RT:10.0).

Regards
Mohammad.

As with most compendial methods, you need to look at the monograph references to find the original column that was used.

Hi

By using this link (do not require an account for EP):

https://extranet.edqm.eu/publications/r ... s_sw.shtml

You may find information like this:
https://extranet.edqm.eu/4DLink1/4DCGI/ ... /mono/2260

Which includes column or columns used for generating example chromatograms.

However for monographs prior (I think) to version 6.0 of EP, there is no information in the open database (first link).
