Chlorine in neon or helium

I tried searching the topics, but haven't found an answer. I apologize if this has been covered before.
I'm trying to analyze gas mixtures with up to 10% chlorine in helium or neon. We tried a porapak Q, but can't get a reproducible peak. I have also tried neon and helium as carriers, but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Bubble a known volume through a dilute NaOH solution and then titrate or do a colorimetric test?

You require gold coated thermisters or wires in your TCD to measure chlorine.

You should use a long copper packed column with a Fluorocol (Krytox 143C) PACKING.

You might wish to use a Carbopack B packing with Cwax phase or a Chromasil 310 or 330 in teflon tubing packed column.

Another assay technique other than GC is recommended.
