Hello,

are mobile phases that contain TFA or triethylamine acetate compatible to MS detection?

Thank you very much for your advice

Yes they are compatible (in the sense that they are volatile). I think many LC-MS people prefer to avoid them because they can interfere with ionization (TFA) and can be *very* difficult to clean from systems. The results of a search on the MS board may give you some idea:
search.php?keywords=%2Btriethylamine+%2 ... mit=Search

Try Formic Acid instead of TFA.
0.1% is usually fine. It will not cause as many problems in the MS as TFA will.
