For HPLC mesurement, when we use a too strong organic solvent as the sample diluent, eg. 100% IPA, 100% NMP, THF etc., we can have distorted peak shape, either extremely bad tailing or very weird hump before the main peak. Is there a term to describe this phenomenon?
Thanks,
