Tom is correct and some options are:
1. In North America, contact Hitachi-HTA through your account or service rep to obtain the replacement EZChrom Elite CD and software license key since the original computer already had this installed. HHTA may charge for a replacement (I don't know) but this should cost less than a new CDS.
2. A 3rd party CDS (such as Dionex's Chromeleon) will have Hitachi LCE device drivers (disclosure: I work for Dionex

3. Manual control and sample programming via the optional keypad controller modules...this is the least desirable option and you will need an output recorder device/plotter connected to the detector output. Data will not be electronically archived without a CDS. This is old school...
