separation by TLC

Hello

I need to separate by TLC substance with Cl from a substance with N3.

I already try evrything without eny success.

If you have really tried everything, then there is nothing we can do. However, if you can give us some more information, then there is a chance that someone can suggest something you haven't tried.

For example: are you a student doing the separation as a class/lab project or is this a professional problem?

Can you tell us more about your compound(s)? If it is one basic compound in the Cl- or azide (N3-), then dissociation in aqueous solution will make the separation impossible.

Can you tell us more about what type of TLC plates you have tried (silica, reversed-phase, ???).
