Problem with HPLC - one line has no pressure

Hi,

After changing one of the reservoirs for my Alliance 2695, I discovered that the system won't prime (either wet or dry) on the line for which I just changed the bottle. Talked to tech support who said that if there's no pressure on any of the lines, it's a check-valve problem. But however, the system will prime on all other lines. I am kind of new to troubleshooting, but imagine that a clear place to start would be to check a filter or input line.

Any advice? Thanks for your time,

Dave

for the mobile phase filter, simply try to prime without it.

this might be too far ahead, but we once had a blown membrane in the gradient proportioning valve, GPV. If you have a suitable service contract just call the engineers out to look at it, if not, bear this component in mind.
