I want to know your opinion. I used to use vespel rotor seal for a rheodyne valve in a hplc semiprep. But I changed for a tefzel. I work in a range of pH between 2-8. But I see that the tefzel rotor seal lifetime is shorter than vespel. What is your experience?

I believe Agilent states that Tefzel is more inert, but softer, and won't last as long as Vespel. We've used both. Currently, all ours are using Vespel.
