I have GC with packed column. I like to analysis glycerine and propylene glycol. I do not know from where I suppose to start? I need help.

What kind of detector is on the GC? 5890 Series II
What kind of samples do you have? mostly contains iodine, glycerine, propylene glycol, water

We assay mixtures of propylene glycol and glycerin routinely. We dissolve in DMF and use trimethylsilyl derivatization, assay on DB-1 or DB-5 type capillaries. There have been procedures published for these in consumer products decades ago.Hi,
