Hi folks
We use this for extractions prior to analysis.
Does anyone know where to get spares for this??
(now that Agilent have taken over J&W)
I believe we purchased it originally from Jones Chromatography,Wales,UK.
Thanks in advance
WK

Dear WK,
I work for Agilent and I saw your note on the J&W High Pressure Soxhlet Extractor. I checked into it with one of our product managers in Folsom, CA (J&W site) and found out that this product was obsoleted even before Agilent took over J&W. However, spare parts can be obtained from Kontes Glass, 1022 Spuce St., P.O. Box 1502, Vineland, NJ 08360-2841, phone 856-692-8500; FAX 856-696-3623.
There are three replaceable parts:
J&W Part Number Description Kontes Part No.
700-0005 Glassware Clamp 701420 6755011420
705-0005 Vial, 50 mL, Soxhlet 701420 4612010
705-0006 Glassware, 50 mL Soxhlet 701429 0411150201

Use the Kontes numbers (rather long!) when ordering. I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Ron Majors
