Break-Down the Suspension

Dear members,
We want to determine the quantity of pectin in our tablets. When we pulverize the tablets and then disperse the powder in water we get a stable suspension. The suspension is difficult to filter and cannot be centrifuged.
The addition polyvalent salt cannot be used since the pectin would be precipitated too. Does anyone have idea about how to get clear sample solution in this case? Thanks in advance.
