acetic acid test in corn starch

would anyone can help with a method to test acetic acid in corn starch. Even your suggestions for possible method or any helpful information is highly appreciated. Acetic acid level would be very low (around LOQ or lower). Method should be able to be validated. GC or HPLC ok.

While I can't help you, for ANYBODY to help you they need to know what your NMT (not more than) spec for HOAc has to be for the product and so what LOQ the method NEEDS to have.

LOQ's are method specific so choice of method/detection depends on how low you need to go.

Along with the question posted above - another thing to check out: Have you checked out the ASTM and AOAC methods? This sounds like a test for quality of a material available in commerce - and those two testing bodies have many robust methods for such tests.
