Empower 2 issue

I am running the enterprise version of Empower 2 and on one client I am getting a runtime library error just after attempting to log in. I have tried rebooting the client computer as suggested from IT but that is not working. I can log in from any of the other clients without a problem.

Has anyone encountered this type of error and short of re-installing the software know how to resolve it.

Thanks

It would appear that the HDD is corrupted. The good news is you wont have any data loss when you rebuild the PC (its just a client). Re-installing the Empower client is not very painful (beside your system admin would do it, maybe thats you?) however it might be important to understand why the failure happened in the first place. This is not likely an Empower issue, it is probably a hardware issue or someone was tampering with the client. If you havent done so already, perhaps a call to Waters is in order, maybe they can tell you the exact files that might be the problem.

Thanks for the help. It turned out that the issue was due to an update to MS Office that was pushed. It corrupted a .dll file. After talking to Waters, I will have to re-load the client to fix the issue.
