Hello

Can anyone tell me if the current release of LC/GC ChemStation is supported on Windows 7 Professional?

Is anyone using ChemStation with this OS?

Cheers

In asking about upgrading a computer this week, I was told by an Agilent service technician that Windows 7 is not currently supported by ChemStation for LC or GC. Support for Windows 7 should be coming 'soon' though. As far as I've been able to determine, Windows XP is the latest supported version right now (and only 32-bit). You can still find computers available with it; we bought one this week!

Good luck!

Do you know if the new chemstation (B.04.03) has support for 5890 Series II GCs?

I don't know. But I'd say it's a good bet that Agilent didn't use up 1 minute to investigate that or check it out, as that 5890 has been out of support so many years. One would have to try it out.

On the other hand, we do use A.06 Chemstation with Windows 2000 for a 1050, and that's not an "approved" match.
