HI everyone,

I have a long-lasting question that bugs me now and then.. Whenever I do a water/air check, there is a pop-up thing asking something like "if set to standard value, click yes, if use current value, click no", i always click "No" coz I have no idea what this really means. Could anyone tell me why it is asking this? what difference would it be between "current values" or "standard values" ?

Thanks!

Have lots of fun at Halloween party!!

Emma

I think it's refering to tune values. I too answer no to the question. It will then use the values of the tune you have in the method.
Thanks! That makes sense. So what are the standard values it refers to?

i think its talking about gain tune values, and the best thing to do is leave it alone unless you know to do otherwise.

Here is a document that gives a technical explanation http://www.chem.agilent.com/Library/tec ... 7654EN.pdf
