Why NaOH, HCl, peroxide use for degradation?

Thanks in advance,
Ajay

Many reasons I imagine;
drug will likely come into contact or be in an environment that is acidic, basic or oxidising, this will show you what the products of that will be and then toxicity studies can be done on those products

Hi
not to forget defined lux requirements etcetera, you can find further information at www.ich.org under the Q tab, in the various ICH Q1 guidelines.

NaOH/HCl - To evaluate stability with respect to pH
