Hi there. Hope you're all fine.

Can I ask if anyone of you will recommend zero air for AAS application as compared to compressed air?

I know that compressed air will be sufficient to run AAS applications but just wondering if anyone uses zero air as well.

Does purity of air being used affect much the quality of spectrum from the AAS? Any experience to share?

We want to consider purchasing gen sets for our lab as we expands and we would like to know considering compressed air gen set is much cheaper than zero air.

Please advise. Thanks a lot ^^

Hi

Will check exactly which different PE AAS systems we have in place, but in general we are pleased with our central provided compressed air (supplies GCs as well), obviously there are some filtering devices in work.
Of course may depend on your application but we rarely go below like 200ppbs in our analysis.
