ChemStation Error with CTC PAL software

Good Afternoon,

I just re-installed ChemStation onto a new computer (the old computer failed on us.)

I'm currently Running ChemStation Version B.03.01 SR1 with the associated patches. Whenever I try to start up the software, I get the following error messsage:

HPCTCHUB: Failed create "XML DOM Document 4.0" object.

I've reinstalled ChemStation, the CTC Driver, and the Microsoft .NET framework over and over, but I can't seem to get rid of this error message. The only way I can stop the message from coming up is by disabling the CTC PAL.

I've tried to install newer and older versions of ChemStation with the appropriate versions of the CTC software, but still the same error message comes up.

Has anyone experience this problem before? If so, would they happen to know how to fix it.

Kind Regards,
-Vladimir Jakovleski

I would try calling LEAP for help. Bill Lindley or Peter Smith. Whatever .dll is writing the xml data is probably not compatible with current operating systems. You could also try Steve Stiller steven@ssdlabs.com

Better yet you could upgrade your chemstation and CTC drivers.
