Hi all,
"The theoretical plates aren't defined for gradient separations, and therefore not applicable" stated by Hallow in previous discussions on this topic. Now i need the references or literature, which supports the above statement. if anybody have literature, kindly send to my mail:ram.chanduchem@gmail.com

And, if you really want to get into gradient theory, read Snyder & Dolan's book "High-Performance Gradient Elution: The Practical Application of the Linear-Solvent-Strength Model" (http://tinyurl.com/256u3g3)
