Hi,
I wont to read the content (datafile, sample-id, method-file, description)
of a EZChrom-Sequence with an external program.
Does anyone know the data structur of a sequence, or is there a different way to get the contents.
Many thanks for your help.
Mike

Hello Mike,

to read the content of sequences of EZchrom, you have two possibilities:
- create a sequence in csv format with fields explained in the help of EZChrom. This is easiest way to do it.
- the second possibility is to use the EZChrom automation but you'l have to buy it.

Hope it help

Henri

Sorry, I do not see this opportunities because:
an existing sequence can not be stored (or exported) in csv-format.
I could not find any way to read a sequence with the automation toolkit.
This functionality is not available.

Sorry,

you can read csv sequences files but you cannot export EZchrom Elite Sequence files.

The idea is to make your own sequences with csv format according to the data explained in the help. Then you could load your sequence directly with EZchrom (just change the filter seq to csv in the open sequence dialog box).

Of course you cannot edit the seq files of Elite.

Hi Henri,
we want to archive the sequence with all its data files. An external program could do that. Read the sequence and collect the relevant data files and move them to the archive.
Mike

Hi Mike,

if you wanna get data from Elite files, you have to use the SDK of EZChrom Elite. Contact your Agilent representatives for information. If you have a partnerchip with Agilent maybe they can send it for free.

Henri
