Baseline

I am almost new to the world of GC. I have been trying to analyse a perfluorinated compound for a couple of months now.

Is there anyway that I can see the baseline value for each chromatogram? The peaks that i am getting for each run, varies. So I have been asked to see whether the baseline of all the chromatograms is same or if some baseline shift is happening. I tried zooming in to see the y- axis ordinate. But is there anyway to actually get the baseline value along with the chromatogram?

Thanks

I would keep doing what you're doing, just zoom in on the baseline at the beginning of each run.

You could also record the baseline in your lab notebook each day before you start working.

export the data into an excel file. in a section that is flat, calculate the average value. baseline average.
