Can I use GC for humic acid?

Hello everybody!
I am a student and i just started my final thesis. I d like to ask you, if GC is able to give results for humic acid adsorbed on goethite? (i ll do catalytic oxidation firstly)

It would appear that a quick answer is yes.
Your best bet is to call the Agilent tech help line and ask what column would be best for analysis of Humic Acid. If you have one of the "big book of columns" from agilent, then it may be found in the index.
edit: I went ahead and reached over to mine and looked... couldn't find it, but they can probably help. (The book for future reference is called "The Essential Chromatography and Spectroscopy Catalog")
