Gday all.

When i try to do a single run on the shimadzu 10 series i get

"cannot submit for a single run" appears

anyone have this happen, and were you able to work out why.

is it ezchrom software?
if so then what does the instrument activity log states?

no, its LC Solutions from shimadzu

Can you run a batch file or is it only with single run?

Make sure you haven't got any weird characters in the method or data filename fields. Any of these: \ / : * ? < > | "

yes, i can run a batch but not a single run.
