Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) measurement

Hi all,
I am working on a enzyme assay. One of products is dihydroxyacetone.
I 've tried to use LC-MS/MS to measure it ( positive mode MRM: 91 to 61, cone 15, CE 7), but it had poor LOD (S/N =3) at around 250 uM. I wonder if it is possible to optimize sensitivity and measure it by LC-MS/MS. Or GC-MS can work better for it (GC-MS is not available right now)?
Thanks!
