Pentaerythritol analysis by GC

I need to analyse some sample for Pentaerythritol content (ppm)
My idea was to do this by gc using derivatisationby silylation

Anyone some good ideas how??

Acetylate? You can do this with Acetic anhydride and 1-methylimdazole as the catalyst.
